Title: Selected Sound LP Series (Lossless)

Originally the record label of Klaus Netzle (aka Claude Larson), later owned by Peter Majewski, and again later acquired by EMI Music Publishing


EMIPM has a nice handful of the Selected Sound LP series, all in 24bit/48kHz resolution.  It is by no means complete, but seems to represent all but 6 of the rips already making the rounds.  Everything emipm has, as well as one from APM to fill a gap is presented here.  Rather than the original bare 9xxx catalog numbers, the catalog prefix used on both sites is SELLP, so that is the one I have used also.  There are a couple incomplete albums, because there is a track or two missing from emipm's server, stating the track(s) in question are not available any longer, probably due to copyright reasons.


All albums are 24bit/48kHz FLAC except SELLP 9100, which is 16bit/48kHz FLAC

I discovered an odd thing about Selected Sound 9031. Joe Ufer's "Drums On Phasing" tracks from this FLAC version (SELLP 9031) don't match up to the versions that appear on the vinyl rip I have of this same LP.

Sometimes I also invert a recording label number. Or it was done for me by the uploader getting sloppy prior to the uploading. The discovery of these errors are always followed by some cursing, then detective work. Then the triumphant "AHA" at the conclusion. Of course, your mileage may vary ;)

Tried that, both with the full URL (replacing the " XX ") and with just the last string (assuming "Zippy" needed to be spelled out.) Neither worked for me, in three different browsers.
