I hope I make everybody very happy by sharing my rip
of "You've Made Me So Very Happy" (NM copy) - a good & groovy soul/easy listening album.
What a cast:

Some of the tracks have David Byron on vocals - scary info, but never fear; the vocals work nicely
(and this comes from a partly vocalophobe with this kind of music).
My favourite is the instrumental track "Freedom Village" (B2).

Thank you so much for this tuneboy. As you say it has a very impressive line-up - Alan Parker, Vic Flick, Harry Stoneham, Ray Davies (I presume) and Alan Tew. Oh and John Schroeder, of course. Bearing in mind the individual skills of each of those musicians it seems amazing in retrospect that this album was only released on a 99p budget label at the time. But I suppose it just illustrates the cutthroat nature of the music industry at the time.

Yes, it must be Ray Davies (not "Davis").
A name I didn't recognize was Albert Hall. So I checked his CV and found this LP listed on Discogs.

But I can't find any soundclips or any info about it.
Does anyone know it? Is it good? I might consider buying it.

Thanks, tuneboy! That song "Headband" sounds really familiar to me... why I wonder?

Some of the tracks were reissued on this CD collection, Headband among them.

Maybe you heard it there.

Yes, exactly! That's the source for me... 1995. One of the first comps I remember back in those days.
