I bought these Winchester Hospital Radio compilations back in the day, but when I moved to the States in 2008 I had to leave a whole load of stuff behind, including those CDs. Amazed they are still so sought-after; at the time, they were pretty affordable, I think I paid about 15 quid each for them.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has the Watch With Teacher compilation in any format? That was one I missed out on and it has some cracking tracks.

I'm just wondering about your copy of CHRCD 5; is it a CD rip, or is it the same as the one I have with the first 12 tracks from the vinyl of RPM 104?
If you do have the CD, then perhaps you can share it over mine, with the 12 tracks being slightly cleaner?

Also many tracks on the later half of the CD have glitches and errors which sounds like CD skipping, etc.
Is it possible to re-rip it with EAC or similar, and re-upload please?

Odd. Might it be a problem with your download? I've just listened to file I downloaded last month and all tracks play fine and without any glitches and track 8 (Scooby-Doo) is included.

I re-downloaded the file and this time I got track 8 when I used 7zip to unpack it.
But, sorry to say the glitches are still the same
Example, track 34 01:50- 01:55 (several glitches)

I don't usually have a problem with either of my disc drives and I have ripped literally thousands of CDs and DVDs over the yearts so I presume this is an issue with the CDs. Afraid I don't think there's much point trying to re-rip. Sorry.

I think they use a cheap CD presser for these CD's. (I guess they are trying to keep costs low for preserving the charity proceeds.)
Both my 'Watch with Teacher' and 'All Soundtracks Great And Small' gave me similar problems and slow/noisey extractions, so I know exactly what you mean, Col Mustard!

That would make sense, Porge. Ripping Sky's the Limit was quite an experience -- sounded like a load of rusty nails being put through a blender. For hours.

I had a sneeking feeling that the glitches may be from the source master as they were almost unnoticeable until you pointed them out - I missed them on first listening and reckon I have pretty keen hearing - and they didn’t sound like the usual digital hiccups one gets when ripping an iffy CD. I did have a look at the track in Audacity but found it difficult to identify the glitches to repair them so if you manage to do so in Sound Forge good on you and thank you for offering.
As for your share I look forward to giving it a listen. Thank you for sharing.
