Title: Later recordings (covers) of library music
Post by: AverageLibraryMusicFan on February 19, 2023, 12:44:54 PM
I just found two covers of Keith Mansfield's Funky Fanfare, one is for an album, while one is recorded live.

Are there anymore examples like this?

Good call ALMF. I'd not seen the live version before and introduced by Johnny Trunk. The track is timeless. Currently featuring in a TV ad in the UK for a betting website.

There are other live versions of KPM tracks on CD2 of the Strut CD Music For Dancefloors recorded at the Jazz Café in April 2000.
