Guys, I don't know where each of you is from, and if in your country the situation is serious or not yet. Here in Italy is terrible...
It could sounds stupid to some of you, but what about a flashmob of fresh rips and shares, here on this thread, the day 19th of March, to ward off this fu**ing Covid19?
LMT community united against the enemy. See you all here.
#everything will be alright#

Ciao Greta. in questi giorni, trovo qui uno spazio per evadere dai pensieri neri di questi giorni..quindi grazie. Andrea

Ciao Greta. in questi giorni, trovo qui uno spazio per evadere dai pensieri neri di questi giorni..quindi grazie. Andrea
Anche io Andrea, bloccati in casa...mi viene claustrofobia, noia, paranoia.. e LMT è una bella ancora di salvataggio, quasi sempre.
-
I will start working in the emergency room from Monday, March 16th. I'm really scared. (I'm a nurse)
-
Hi,
Saluti a tutti gli italiani di LMT. Mia amica é italiana e io siamo in Francia tanti pensieri positivi per voi...
-
Amici ma una bella compilation uplifting curata dagli utenti di LMT per solleverci un po' a vicenda?
Passo e chiudo da una Roma spettrale, surreale ma sempre incantevole
Friends, what about a user-curated uplifting compilation to cheer us up a bit?
Over from a ghostly Rome, surreal but still wonderful

I'm in. Let's share some vinyl/FLAC'y love.
I'm on De Wolfe phase and today am currently ripping DWLPs so get your requests in asap...
In a flash, I could be distracted by the shiny teal beauty of a BRS on Bruton and be frantically ripping those so don't sleep!
And Joelfan your 'Sweatshirt' is coming right up...

Don't need to rip BRS 3-4-5-6-7-8-10, I could up those flacs if needed.
-
Hope everyone is staying safe, and in good health. We'll get through this :)
My turntable is unfortunately out of service at the moment (- not down with the flu, no, it needs a new belt!), but I'll do my part and contribute with some fresh CD rips ;)
Here are two somewhat thematically relevant CD releases from Cavendish:
CAV CD 55 - Poisoned Planet
cough://mega.nz/#!odBSWIyZ!QaMZAgi0IMHTkkWACZSqOaZoa1tmFtvd-BuAjpuAagI
CAV CD 62 - Broadcast News 1
cough://mega.nz/#!cBYwkKrS!LuppyVYGLCUXdG5xc1_Qcc1PruHApwUCiGrHyvRJCFo
- and two archival CDs from De Wolfe.
DWMIL 011 - 1950s Cinema & Television 1

DWMIL 012 - 1950s Cinema & Television 2
enium://mega.nz/#!AQRgyApD!kJgqSqt333GvIDHau_rBR5wMmDO-NVrBt6WtUqbXLug
As a fun addition, the booklets of both of these latter two include a little De Wolfe history - with a photo of the man himself, even:

I posted it in a new thread so people searching for "muzak" in a thread title will later find it.

I'm from Germany. Schools are in Easter Holidays as of now, most people will try to work from home, public life is slowly coming to a halt in these days overhere as well.
P.S. As it happens, I've been watching Italian films the recent days: La moglie più bella (1970), Indagine su un cittadino al di sopra di ogni sospetto (1970)

Great thread Greta. We are seemingly prisoners here in the North East of the United States; however the whole of the USA is in a pandemic.

Hello, thank you Greta for this thread. And thank you all.
I hope you are all well.
Here is a contribution from a ghost town in the North East of Italy. Nobody on the street.
Fortunately, there is LMT.
Enjoy!

Hello good people! I send well wishes and positive ((((vibes)))) to you and yours across this virtual expanse during troubling times. Life is more or less normal here in rural East Tennessee, except for reports of universities going to online classes, canceled sporting events, and markets selling out of some essential items.
Take good care,
wf

Fresh one! A rare, early Italian from Cetra Commenti Musicali:
2 - Romantici (E. Colonnese, S. D'Esposito, F. Salina, F. Tamponi, Wilhelm)
saie://mega.nz/#!9M5h0BxC!omeEDTcu6cE1fYYAoZ9PB8lry24UQPvITuyO0i7SdzA
There are some varied moods on here - though largely orchestral, it takes some slightly jazzy turns on "Richiami del passato" and "Smog". The beautiful B-side closer reminds me a bit of Sven Libaek's Australian Suite, of all things.
Enjoy! :)
Some observations:
Salve D'Esposito's "Raffaella" on the B-side is named after his daughter, who herself did an album for Fonit in 1971 (https://mega.nz/#!gJp3UBgZ!FcdlJVVHkcWc3oBjPvoQTodzxINB1XqxqxkhmIsQuxE) - and may very well be the one playing the piano.
This LP seems to have had its tracks retitled and reissued as Ember ERL 3347 in 1968.
ps. - Excuse any sound oddities here, my turntable has been having motor troubles and you may find the RPM veer slightly. I'll redo this one once my turntable has been replaced or fixed.
-
this one from me:

take care & greetings from Istanbul/Turkey
TrPsyche, you should choose one track only. So, which one from that record?
Also, it should be in lossless format.

Nope, sorry. The only two digitizations from this label I've seen are this one and the one I posted here (https://librarymusicthemes.com/index.php?topic=4514.0).
Generally speaking, there seems to be an unfortunate tendency that people who have these older Italian library LPs, want lots of money for them - but aren't very keen on sharing clips/rips. Though rare, of course, they're largely orchestral and not in the funky/groovy vein of the later 60's/70's ones that people pay really big bucks for - so rips like this one is really more likely to 'fend off' potential blind buyers than entice someone to fork out €80+ for 'just' something like this.
What I'm saying is, the odds for rips of LPs like this one to just pop up without it being ripped by one of us is rather slim, I think. LMT member MillionDollars, who posted that Discogs entry, I don't think has a setup for ripping records at the moment - but at least it's in safe hands for the time being :)

Exactly my thoughts! Altough Italian library seems to be much more rare to find, I've heard a lot of medium ones that are priced too high most of the time ... so indeed: every audiofile is more than welcome! Thx again to all the great people here who share so many wonderful things. My knowledge has grown immense because of you!! I wish I was able to rip, I have so many records that aren't on the web :-\

Goodmorning LMT!!!
Today is 19th, the day intended to be the meeting with you all for the flashmob between us and our little (but growing) community.
Here are three upgrades I think I've never seen shared here before. A mixed bag. Not my rips, as always, thanks to the original rippers/sharers.
Let's cross fingers and hope that bat-stard covid19 is about to croak...

Here is HAI LIN ZHANG, hello to you in Liaoning, China. The plague is obviously terrible, and it would be even worse without protection.Although I am not in the source of the epidemic, the local government took urgent and effective closure measures as soon as possible. There is no doubt that this effectively controlled the spread of the disease.I hope everyone can take it seriously and protect themselves.

I am originally Persian from Iran. Yes,the situation is hectic and in my country, we have same situation as Italy. On top of it, the brutal unfair United States sanctions on my country does not help at all to supply the necessary medicines and other medical equipments to ease this situation.
I hope we learn to live in peace !
Happy Spring to all of you! In my country, new year starts 1st day of Spring. I wish the best for all of you.
Stay strong!

Thank you Greta and thanks to all of you. Let's hope this wave of great music will help us.
Here are three nice records.
A brilliant Cetra Commenti Musicali LP from the sixties, "Ballabili Vari" by Fabio Fabor.
An obscurity from the eighties by "Diapason Duo". Electronic bossa, synth pop and a few catchy tracks. I especially like the second side.
In addition some heavy artillery to combat against the virus, "Guerra di Cielo, di Mare, di Terra" by Stefano Torossi released on the Octopus label in 1971.
My copy is worn without a cover. I cleaned the rip for this occasion. Enjoy!

Hi, and thanks to everyone for reading this, for sharing great music, and for helping to create a fine community here at LMT. I hope that everyone remains safe and healthy, and is able to maintain a positive outlook throughout this ordeal. :)
So, with that said, I present to you a little suspense in the form of Bruno Nicolai's soundtrack for Tutti I Colori Del Buio. This is a CD rip from the 2004 Digitmovies release, CDDM019, and is a lossless upgrade to the 320kbps that was previously posted on LMT V.7. The files remain as I received them, and big thanks to the OP.
Take good care,
wf

The thread will stay up and sticky for a little while, feel free to contribute whatever and whenever you want LMT!
Yours truly,
G.
You are Welcome!
During this time of great despair and uncertainty, it is the lite things like sharing music that can make a HUGE difference!

You are not very old, are you ? ;)

What a great Idea to have this conversation here!
Thank you Greta and the rest :)
I know, the Iranian people are suffering greatly from several injustices, and unlike the impression one could get from just watching news, the Iranians themselves seem to be an especially friendly and cultivated people in many respects. I have an Iranian friend in Finland, and hosted another one once who was doing a cycling tour through Europe.

Let's put it this way: no such thing as a "duty to worry", just a duty to follow all the precautions to protect the most vulnerable members of our societies. ;-) It was probably meant lightheartedly anyway, I guess.

You are not very old, are you ? ;)
I don't know if that post was intended for me, or not, but I am 30 years old. So I am
definitely getting older - that's for sure.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy all the music posted in this thread, Flemming.
Please be sure to check out the K.I.D. album I posted earlier.
I wish you a great day/evening. :)

No worries bongo_rock, i am 54 but my parents are old and more vulnerable, and yes it was meant to be a humorous feature. Thank you for your contribution, appreciate it. Love you man. :)
Thanks again Greta.

Yes, I understand that now. And pardon me for my snarky remark, Flemming.
I didn't know about your parents. And I understand your concern.
My grandfather is 93 years old, and of course I've thought about him extra much in these times. But I come to the same conclusion again and again;
there isn't much I can do about it.
Of course, washing ones hands is common sense. But this so-called virus is airborne. So washing the hands will do very little to stop it from spreading, I believe.
I was on a crowded bus a week ago, where people were coughing and sneezing every minute. Two days later I had developed symptoms.
My understanding is this;
Life throws all kinds of things on us. We don't get to choose that.
What we do get to choose is HOW we react to anything that happens. I believe this is very important.
Why? I believe that a huge part of what is happening right now in our world, is done to us by small groups
that wants to bring fourth a constant state of fear in people. This fear then leads to worry - and the worry leads to a sensation of dis-ease. Yes it can also be read that way.
When we're constantly worried we don't feel at ease - therefore we experience dis-ease.
This is what I meant by trying not to worry too much. Excessive worrying also creates an inflammatory response in the body, that is very unhealthy in the long run
because is produces adrenaline that is being constantly pumped out in the bloodstream in small amounts. This does indeed make our bodies sick, both spiritually and physically.
The toilet paper being run-out at the store has more to do with people being reactionary to fear, rather than having anything to do with a "virus" being spread in the community.
We must always try to act with calmness as much as we can towards anything that happens to us in life. That is the only way to ensure that we live today in the moment. Not yesterday. Not tomorrow. But in the now! There is often something to learn from pain and suffering if we give ourselves the time to stop and think clearly about what the pain is trying to tell us.
We can only do so much about a particular thing. After a short while it becomes a hindering aspect to us. Hindering us in the sense of preventing us from experiencing any joy. The joy of the incoming spring, for example.
It is therefore, according to me, better to act with as much calmness as possible even if the news media and other powers are trying to force fear upon us. When we are afraid, we don't think clearly - which then affects our decision-making.
Hope my perspective helps.
I wish you and your parents all the best.
Thank you.

Hope you are well, Greta. I'm in China and we are slowly in the long climb coming out of it over here. Hopefully we have truly peaked and are headed for brighter days as things look much better at the moment, but it's too early to say we're in the clear!
I guess it's pretty bleak in most places, but of course worse for anyone anywhere who is suffering physically or financially because of this bug. I'm an American and never thought at the beginning of this thing that being in China now is probably the safest place to be because the people and the government have responded admirably. I hope the same can be said in a couple of months in places like Italy and Spain where suffering is the worst now, and also for my homeland which is unfortunately run by a double-crossing con man who has no idea how to deal with this thing.
Anyway, yes, the flash megashare. Haven't looked at what's going around yet, but great idea, and stay safe everyone!

Ahh, you must be in NYC, too. Cuomo is easily one of the most corrupt con men ever and I agree it is dangerous here with that idiot trying to take center stage. He's trying to block the medication that can save lives. He is an incompetent governor. Now he's just dangerous.
President Trump though is doing a great job and I feel brighter days ahead.

Wasn't aware you were all the way over there - happy to hear you're alright, HPD! Interesting to hear how things are progressing there.

Lots of people may be feeling isolated or alone and it's great to be here and united by our love for the music.

I'm here in the UK. There's always a bright side; I can now stay indoors on a nice, sunny day and not feel guilty about it ::)
I'll be going through this thread later as it's quite the rabbithole (what isn't around here?) so thanks in advance!
Here's my stream rip of Christian Bruhn's Captain Future soundtrack. For those who may be wondering, my sound card can pick up audio whilst still in the digital domain so the audio quality is near-perfect, if not perfection itself.
I've not sought out the cartoon until posting this; unsurprisingly this music is used on the German version, but would there be a Japanese soundtrack also?

You're welcome Greta! Here's another soundtrack, by Alan Tew.
I searched this site for Bullet and drew a blank, so hopefully I can treat a few of you to this excellent set of recordings (one of my favourites). It's of the carchase/stakeout genre and quite reminiscent of The Sweeney. I don't have a car myself, but would be tempted to play the slower ones whilst sat in a car with a flask of tea and a pair of binoculars. I wonder how long it would last before the real police showed up :D
Update - I've just searched for 'hanged' instead and got a result (https://librarymusicthemes.com/index.php?topic=2384.msg14770;topicseen#msg14770) as chris69 had posted a reference to it along with a Mediafire share which is now inactive. If the mentioned TIM 1024 and TIM 1025 are still wanted I can post those, but I'd rather post all my Themes International rips together at some point.
Credit to the original ripper, and Alan Tew of course. Ripped from CD.
