Title: Win audio converter, please

I'm using some friend's machine in these days, and it's an old Windows Vista.
As I'm used to Mac softwares I don't know anything about Win.
Would some of you guys suggest a serious and free software to convert audio files?
I need conversion to multiple formats, in and out. Thanks.

I use Any Audio Converter...there's a free version and it does the job for me...
