The first one I'm pretty sure is de Wolfe, but I can't remember any more details unfortunately - it was also used by the Seeburg background music service in the 1970s.

Thanks Lord Thames, that's a good start. I'll do some digging and see what I can find.

A step closer! It's on the de Wolfe album 'Stroll On' - my copy is currently getting the PVA glue treatment before I digitise it, but I'll be able to let you know the title and composer in the near future!

Thanks Lord Thames, you're the best! I appreciate the help!
FYI, found it on YouTube - Track A5, "Friends" by Simon Haseley.

That's the one! I was just coming on here to post that!

Good call, as usual, LT.
It's always a little bit more satisfying to hear the warbly 33mm film versions of these library tracks. The clean LP versions are great, of course, but the lo-fi sound holds more nostalgia for me.

I know exactly what you mean, there's something I really like about the sound of film - obviously, having a pristine version's helpful as well!

Anyone have an idea about the closing music from this film, starting at 13:19? Thanks again!

That is Jack Trombey's 'Stringbed No. 1' from the 1972 De Wolfe ablum 'Stringbeds', DWLP 3253. The portion in the film begins about the 2:44 mark....
